PALOS VERDES, California - Trinium Technologies, a leading provider of enterprise
software for the intermodal and multi-modal trucking industries, has released a new version of TriniumMC2,
its smart phone application for drivers.
Trinium-MC2 is a web-based smart phone application deployable to any smart phone or tablet. It is
currently used by hundreds of drivers in the US and Canada, many of which are owner operators working
for drayage companies. The initial phase of MC2 enabled drivers to receive dispatch data and update
dispatch events, with a tight integration with the Trinium TMS.
The recent version 2 release of MC2 includes additional features such as signature capture for electronic
proof of delivery, document capture using the smart phone’s camera, improved driver to dispatcher
messaging, and an interface with ALK® Maps to display truck routing, mapping, and driving directions.
“The additional features to enable truckers to capture pertinent documents on the road and have them
immediately indexed into our TMS will enable our customers to reduce administrative costs and improve
the speed at which they process invoices, which will have a positive impact on cash flow,” said Michael
Thomas, CEO of Trinium Technologies.
The ALK® Maps interface is an extension of the partnership Trinium has with ALK Technologies. The truck
routing, mapping, and driving directions displayed in MC2 are designed to improve the driver experience
as more and more drivers rely on smart phones for their day to day activities.
